On Monday, EVE Online’s leading Android app and premier news source were formally linked together. The most recent version of Aura, now available for download, shows the latest EVE news and features from TheMittani.com. The update also includes a revamp to the podcast section, which now offers you the latest podcasts from Crossing Zebras, Voices from the Void, Broadcasts from the Ninveah and more!

Aura has, for a long time, been the most popular Android app related to EVE Online. It allows you to track skill progression, reminds you when your skill queue is low, and fetches mail, assets and banking information. If the EVE API allows you to track it, Aura does it.

Marcel Devereux (creator of Aura and CEO of Aideron Robotics, a Gallente FW corp) has worked over the past few months to integrate our news feed into the headline section. Thanks to his hard efforts, only EVE Online related pieces from TheMittani.com will appear in Aura's feed.

So what's next for Aura? Marcel has told me that he is waiting to see what CREST will offer, and continues to fight to open up functionality through third party apps. He has interest in CREST chat functionality, Dust information, and possibly skill queue managers.

Thanks Marcel!

I have been playing the game *terribly* for right around two years. After a brief time in null, and longer stay in high, I have now entered into Gallente Faction Warfare and somehow landed a job as director of Aideron Robotics. I am still terrible.
